The War Within

When I was a young man I was quite manipulative and devious, I always thought I could just do and have whatever I wanted. I pretty much lived that way, did what I wanted, took what I wanted. I have always tried to be considerate of others feelings, I tried very hard to take other peoples feelings in account. The truth is when you do what you want, regardless of how honest you are about yourself and your intentions, people get hurt, that is reality. So lets just say I was a selfish, self centered, self absorbed kid in a mans body. I was a well armed bull in a china shop, my mind was more powerful then my heart.

When I got married and had children I had to work very hard to change, for the most part the change was for the better. I learned patience, I learned how to compromise, I learned to put myself to the end of the line for everything. It really was amazing, to me a transformation of epic proportions. I lived that way for 20 years, that is a lot of conditioning, practice and reps. When I learn something I master it. I mastered being a good husband, a good father and a good man. My heart had conquered my mind and in resounding fashion.

Move forward 20 years. I have now been separated/divorced for 3 years. The conditioning I took during marriage has been a problem. I like what I became. The world has no respect for nice guys. My heart has made me a nice guy. I like that. What I don't like is how the world perceives nice people. Being nice and kind is akin to being weak. The sad thing is, in order to function in the world you have to do a lot of "fighting and struggling". The world is a grinder. When I was married I did not particularly feel the struggle because I had a partner to talk to about the things facing us. I am single again and on occasion I find my mind over-riding my heart. This is a problem.

I don't know how others perceive or know themselves, I know how I am. My heart is the good, my mind is the evil. I really want to be a good person. In order to function in the world you have to be willing to release the "war machine", for me that is my brain. Right now my heart is still anchoring things, but my mind is beginning to bear down, hard. My mind hammers logic, repetition and patterns, it is critical of much and merciless. Hence my desire to have my heart win this war. Slash and burn is not a good social skill, that is my minds way.

What I see happening is my approach to people changing. I am going into "single" mode, now I have to battle Mr Hyde, he wants out, he wants and loves to pillage and plunder. Not good. When the good inside of me becomes confused it turns to the Father for communion, that leaves the mind free to takeover and Hyde gets to play. I joke with people about recusing myself from society, but I am not the "hermit" type, I am a social creature, if I begin becoming more "Hyde" then "Jeckyll" I really may have to recuse myself. I really don't want to hurt people. Sadly for whatever reason I was born with war in my mind, but I have found peace with the Father. Now the war is on. I have been willing to war with others in the past, even wars of attrition because I feel there is more of me then them, I am willing to go toe to toe blow to blow. But how do I wage a war within myself? This is a war of attrition, it matters who is left standing at the end.

When I was young "good and evil" were not really on my radar. Now I have to condition myself to be balanced, which is difficult. The evil within is strong and clever, the good is stronger and genius, but a war of attrition none the less. I know the good within me will ultimately win, it is just those moments where the evil within gets its window of opportunity to run things that trouble me. Hyde is a jackass. Good vs evil, the war within.

Shocking!

No, really, shocking! How can this be? Some one must be mistaken. Don't they love everyone and spread peace and harmony? They burden no country or people, there must be some kind of mistake. They are only responsible for 95% of terrorist attacks, it is that other 5% that are really dangerous.
They plan on conquering the USA, not through the sword, they have never had good results in wars. No they will use our political system and demographics, all you women won't have to worry about fashion anymore! Islam has been at work in this country since the 1940s, making inroads into the political system, they have been at it and it is finally beginning to work and soon it will pay off. We infidels will be offered the "poll tax" known as "jizya", or we can convert or we can die. Paying the jizya is no guarantee of a life free from terror. Sending islamic regimes money is tantamount to paying the jizya, that is how they spin it, that is how it is received. Reckless, feckless Obama has put the USA in a position of subservience relative to islamic nations, thank you coward in chief.

Wake Up USA

I have been accused of being "judgmental", "racist", "intolerant" etc. I do use my judgement, often. My judgement is not politically correct, it is real and focused. I make judgements about people and situations everyday. Those judgements are personal, I rarely condemn people or peoples. Having said that if people are evil I don't have an issue judging them, openly. I judge by showing the truth, I rarely openly condemn, the truth is usually enough to open eyes. Usually. In todays world people have this ideal that if we are just nice to everyone and give them money and stuff they will like us. Nope. How much money does the USA send to Pakistan? How is that working out? They hate us and openly condemn the USA and its people. How about Egypt, how much money do they get from us every year? How is that working? They hate us and openly condemn the American people. How about the palestinians( Philistines)? How much money do we send them? Do they love us yet? No they kill our people, celebrate and demand more money, they brag about ripping us off. How about Saudi Arabia? Obama is so scared to offend them and loves them so much he bows to their king. Our president should bow to no one, especially imperialistic pigs. We just sent 1.7 billion dollars worth of other currency to Iran, have they rolled out the red carpet? No they openly and continuously condemn the USA and the American people.

Yes I call a spade a spade. Islam is evil. Its only purpose is to conquer and destroy. They are the original "brownshirts". I will not condemn any individual muslim that wants to live peacefully. I just don't know who is peaceful. Their unholy quran gives directives to lie to infidels if it suits the moment, lie until you have numbers then smite them. That is islam. How can one have a fruitful, meaningful conversation with someone who has the idea he or she can lie to us as a standard. There is no reason to have dialogue with people that don't respect us, who would be happy to put us to the sword. Muslims like to say unless you read the quran in Arabic you can't really understand it, so we infidels could never really understand. The truth is the original quran was written in classical Arabic, only about 5% of Arabs can read classical Arabic. 90% of muslims don't read or speak Arabic. So are they "misunderstanders".
My last word on this. If someone understands what the quran states and still holds onto the ideals within its' covers, they are evil. If someone hangs onto islam but does not know what is in the quran, they are fools if not evil.
I have condemned no one, I have condemned an evil ideology. I condemn Nazis and any other supremacist ideology. I will continue to use my judgement to keep myself and my loved ones safe.

You gotta love those Kurdish women, real warriors compared to isis

Popular Vote versus Electoral College

Over the past few weeks I have been asked about the popular vote and the electoral vote. So this is an issue I have with the elections. I understand why the electoral college was established, it was done so that heavily populated states do not have more representation/votes than rural areas.  So lets get to it. The popular vote is just that, the candidate wins the popular vote by accumulating more votes then his/her competition. Very simple, requires no committees, no voting or choosing delegates, no voting districts or other bureaucracy, no gerrymandering

The electoral college, however, is not quite so simple. First you have to have a progression of votes, citizens vote for their delegate(s) along party lines then the next vote is by the delegates and the winner becomes president. The electoral college requires bureaucracy, the college itself is a bureaucracy, then there are oversight committees. Then the electoral college requires voting districts which creates more bureaucracy and leads to gerrymandering( the manipulation of voting district boundaries for vote garnering). The system is not fair to people who live in states that historically vote one way, like California, in California if you vote Republican your vote will not count, period. This system is designed for large parties, it is not a system that lends itself to having Joe Public jump into the election, large sums of money are required along with a healthy dose of butt schmoozing. So a person could completely win the popular vote and still lose the election, it has happened. Here are examples:

  • George Bush (electoral vote winner) vs. Al Gore in 2000: Al Gore won the popular vote by 543,816 votes
  • Benjamin Harrison (electoral vote winner) vs. Grover Cleveland in 1888
  • Rutherford B. Hayes (winner) vs. Samuel J. Tilden in 1876: Tilden won the popular vote by 264,292 votes
  • John Quincy Adams won the electoral vote in 1824 but lost the popular vote to Andrew Jackson by 44,804 votes in 1824
Here is the electoral breakdown per state, the winner requires only 270 electoral votes to win.

Mr Khan and Mr Con 2 for 1

So before I go into the truth, I want it to be clear that I respect the fact that the Khans' son was killed fighting for the USA. When you live in this country you have the right and obligation to defend it and freedom. On this note I commend the Khans.
Enough niceties. This man, Mr Khan, got up in front of the DNC and had some pretty bad things to say about Donald Trump. The dumocrats ran this man out in front of everybody either without vetting him properly or they just don't care. Mr Khan is a staunch advocate for sharia law. He has done extensive writing on how sharia should be over all other worldly laws, he likens all other laws to "human laws" as though sharia were divine. There is nothing divine about sharia or islam. Mr Khan believes sharia should supersede the Constitution. He is an advocate for the very jihadis that killed his very own son. How can this man be taken seriously? I realize his son died in combat. Many sons have died in combat.
What this episode of the "Keystone Dumocrats" showed is they either are not intelligent enough to do a proper background check on their speakers, or they don't really care about the USA or the Constitution. My money is on the latter. What was also interesting is that the wife stood by his side and said exactly.....nothing. Sharia compliant.

Speaking of sharia compliant, our gutless commander in chef sent the Iranian regime 1.7 billion dollars in cash on a plane in January. It is the "first installment", supposedly to reconcile a weapons deal that was halted in 1979 due to the islamic revolution. So our president just paid the Iranian regime hostage money, we get four states prisoners. It only gets worse, in islam if you are not muslim you are expected to pay a poll tax as an infidel. This poll tax puts infidels in a state of inferiority , paying the tax shows you are WEAK. Guess what our spineless leader just did. Obama also played games with the law, legally no one may send dollars to Iran, no one may do business with dollars in Iran per our law. Obama spent our money buying Euros and Swiss Francs to send to the ayatollahs. Funny thing about money, there was a dead guy on board.

I am a registered Independent for a reason, both parties are reckless with the nations treasure, I say this often, if this were a race the democrat party would be way out ahead when it comes to being reckless. Not absolving the republicans of anything, there is still a glimmer of hope for them, but I see the light at the end of the tunnel going out due to budget constraints.

Muslim Appreciation and Awareness month

Muslims like to say the USA is an imperialist nation, but islam has been in the imperialism business for 1400 years...

Here is a good starting point on the subject of islam. It is relatively short, relatively, and concise. It goes through the history and teachings objectively and honestly. To defeat an enemy you need to know said enemy......

http://www.slideshare.net/gayatri125/islam-undressed-presentation

I have not quite figured out why any good God fearing man would want to encourage homage to those who adhere to evil, but then I don't know that the good politician is a God fearing man.....maybe he is just a politician......

I bet the good people of San Bernadino are throwing a parade, no really, this state is that progressive, for the two poor misunderstanders of their religion........

How many other misunderstanders can we stomach?

These are just the ones that make it to the news.....
