Fatherly Tidbits

The Hebrew language phrase ruach ha-kodesh (Hebrew: רוח הקודש, "set apart spirit" also transliterated ruaḥ ha-qodesh) is used in the Hebrew Bible (Tanakh) and Jewish writings to refer to the spirit of YHWH (רוח יהוה). It literally means "the set apart spirit." Ruach is "feminine".......

Yahweh is our Creators name. It is based on the Hebrew verb hayah which means "to exist". Yahweh/Yahuweh means I was, I am, I will always be, it is a verb. The Father loves us all and wants us all, so he sent us Salvation.

Yahushua/Yeshua means Yahweh saves or Implement of Yahweh. Yahushua is the Messiah of the Jewish people and the Savior to those "grafted on". Scripture is full of references to him and foreshadows of things he will do to lead and save.

Look at the book of Joshua, it is a foreshadowing of how he will lead (Joshua is actually a poor transliteration of Yahushua). There will be love, peace and justice.

It is interesting to look at the book of Hosea and relate Israel of that time to our modern world, interesting, prophetic, scary....the corruption, the politics, the godlessness......

Hosea forgiving Gomer is a foreshadowing of the forgiveness we are being given......
